The Prince Edward Island Federation of Agriculture offers a number of programs designed to assist Island farms and farm families, in their continuing efforts to become and remain productive. Programs include the;

Advance Payment Program

• The Federation of Agriculture is pleased to announce they have once again been approved by AAFC to be able to offer the 2009 Advance Payment Program to eligible producers to assist them with working capital in order to plant, harvest and market their crops effectively.

• The objective of the Enhanced Environmental Farm Plan is to help farmers develop a practical plan for operating their farm in a way that is environmentally sustainable, socially acceptable, and economically viable.
